Montalvo STEM Education and Community Center Service Provider
What this bid is
The City of Flagstaff, Arizona is asking for proposals from a service provider to run STEM youth programming at a STEM education and community center under construction in the Sunnyside neighborhood. The work sought is operating educational programs for local youth in science, technology, engineering and math, not building the facility. The city says the facility is being built under a separate design-build contract awarded in 2024, with construction expected to finish in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The notice asks providers to show how the programming will be accessible, equitable and engaging, and how it fits city values and neighborhood revitalization. A sample facility use license agreement is attached. The city decides which proposal, if any, is selected.
Proposals are due November 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM MST through the city's OpenGov portal, and late proposals will not be accepted. Questions are due October 30, 2026 at 12:00 PM MST, and a pre-bid meeting is set for October 20, 2026 at 1:00 PM MST. A free vendor account is needed before uploading.
