What BusyBids does not do
- We do not submit bids. Bidding happens on the agency's own system, and every listing links to it.
- We do not decide whether you qualify. Where a notice asks for a bond, a licence or insurance, we show you the requirement and say to confirm it with the agency.
- We do not host the documents. We link the agency's copy, so you always get the current version.
- We are not part of the government, and no agency endorses us.
- We do not sell your address, and we never show it to an agency.
Questions
- Is BusyBids free?
- Yes. Searching and email alerts are free. No password or credit card is needed to browse bids.
- Where does this information come from?
- Public procurement notices published by the agencies themselves - city records, state contract reporters, transit and housing authorities, and the federal contract opportunities API. Every listing names its source and links the notice.
- How current is it?
- Sources are checked several times a day and new notices appear within hours. Each listing shows when we first saw it and when we last confirmed it was still there.
- Do I need an account?
- No. You give an email address only if you want alerts, and you can stop them in one click.
- Do you submit bids for me?
- No. BusyBids helps you find work; bidding happens on the agency's own system, and every listing links to it.
- Are you part of the government?
- No. BusyBids is an independent information service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. Always confirm requirements with the issuing agency.
