City of Pasadena - Public Works Department, BSFMD has issued competitive bid, solicitation 2026-IFB-MS-0515.

The City of Pasadena Public Works Department, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD) is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver lamps, lighting fixtures, electrical lighting components, conduit, fittings, and related electrical accessories on an as-needed basis for City-owned and operated facilities. The resulting contract will establish a reliable source for commercial-grade lighting materials used by the BSMFD to support the operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of lighting systems throughout municipal facilities. Materials shall be furnished and delivered as requested during the contract term in accordance with the requirements of this solicitation. The anticipated start date for this contract is 1/24/2027.

BSFMD is responsible for maintaining electrical systems throughout City-owned facilities, including administrative buildings, public safety facilities, community centers, libraries, maintenance facilities, parking structures, and other municipal properties. Routine maintenance activities require replacement of lamps, emergency lighting equipment, and other associated lighting accessories to maintain safe and reliable building operations. The City requires a supplier capable of providing commonly used lighting materials with timely delivery to support routine maintenance, scheduled projects, and emergency repairs.
