709 University Avenue Drainage System Replacement Project

Town of Los Gatos - Parks and Public Works has issued ppw projects - formal bids, solicitation 816-0423 (Bid# 27-003).

The Town of Los Gatos (“Town”) will accept electronic bids for its 709 University Avenue Drainage System Replacement Project, Project # 816-0423 (Bid# 27-003) (“Project”), by or before October 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM, via the Town’s bidding site at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/losgatosca, at which time the bids will be opened electronically, as further specified in the Instructions to Bidders.

The existing corrugated metal storm drain has deteriorated and is associated with subsurface voids requiring rehabilitation. The project will rehabilitate and replace portions of the existing storm drainage system using a combination of open-trench construction and sliplining methods. The improvements are intended to provide a long-term drainage solution while minimizing impacts to adjacent residential properties, mature trees, and existing improvements. Construction will occur within an existing drainage easement and will require coordination with adjacent property owners, protection of existing utilities and landscaping, and careful sequencing of construction activities to minimize disruptions during the work.

Responses are due October 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM PDT.

Questions must be submitted by October 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM PDT.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for October 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM PDT at Project site at 709 University Avenue, Los Gatos CA.
