Taylor Heritage Park Pavillion Roof Project

City of Taylor, MI - Procurement has issued invitation for bid, solicitation IFB-9-21-26-22.

The City of Taylor, MI is soliciting sealed bids for Taylor Heritage Park Pavillion Roof Project. Bids are to be submitted electronically via the City's eProcurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/taylormi or physically to City of Taylor, City Clerk's Office, 23555 Goddard Road, Taylor MI 48180 PRIOR TO 5:00 PM on October 12, 2026. Late responses will not be accepted.

The project at the Taylor Heritage Park Pavilion, located at 12303 Pardee Rd in Taylor, MI, consists of installing Carlisle’s Sure‑Seal 60‑mil EPDM Fully Adhered Roofing System across roof sections A, B, and C. Work includes the complete tear‑off of the existing BUR roof on Section A, verification of the exposed wood deck, installation of 0.5" HD board, removal and infill of all existing curbs, and application of the adhered EPDM system. An alternate option allows for removal of existing rock, replacement of saturated areas, fastening of 0.5" HD board, and installation of the adhered EPDM system. Sections B and C require installation of the Fully Adhered EPDM system over the existing grid‑sliced EPDM roof using Polyisocyanurate HD insulation. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the roofing system in accordance with Carlisle specifications, confirm all existing conditions prior to bidding, and notify the owner of any conflicts. Any contractor proposing an alternate roofing manufacturer must submit written pre‑qualification at least fourteen days prior to the bid date.
