RFQ - Conroe Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion

City of Conroe, TX - Engineering has issued request for qualification, solicitation 2026-34.

The City of Conroe is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering and related services for the expansion of the Conroe Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located at 1890 Ed Kharbat Drive, Conroe, TX 77301.

The existing Conroe Central WWTP has a permitted Average Daily Flow (ADF) capacity of 6.0 million gallons per day (MGD). Wastewater flow projections developed as part of the City's wastewater master planning efforts demonstrate the need for additional treatment capacity to accommodate existing and projected wastewater flows associated with continued growth and development within the City's service area. The proposed project will expand the Conroe Central WWTP from its existing 6.0 MGD permitted ADF capacity to approximately 12.0 MGD permitted ADF capacity. The project is anticipated to include evaluation, planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction-phase services, and other professional services necessary to provide a complete and operational expansion of the facility.
