SCOPE OF WORK City of Pinehurst, Texas 2019 Disaster CDBG-DR Contract No. 25-147-006-F360 Flood & Drainage Improvements GENERAL This contract provides for drainage improvements along multiple streets within the City of Pinehurst. Proposed improvements include but are not limited to regrading existing ditches, removing debris from existing culverts structures, removing and replacing existing culverts and drainage inlets, installation of additional drainage inlets, installing junction boxes, repairing driveways and street crossings, and all associated appurtenances. SPECIFIC This contract shall include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, inspection, testing, and superintendence required for the complete and operable rehabilitation of the proposed project as shown on the contract plans and specifications. Proposed improvements shall take place at the following locations: Whippoorwill Street (East) from 35 th Street to Redbird Street. Warbler Street from Whippoorwill Street to end of street. Whippoorwill C3 Ditch from 35th Street to the west end of the ditch. Redbird Street from 35 th Street to the end of the street. Raven Street from 35 th Street to West Hardin Circle. Pheasant Street (East) from 35 th Street to the end of the street. 35 th Street from Whippoorwill Street (West) to West Park Avenue. 33rd Street from Peasant Street to West Park Avenue. Camelot Street Ditch from 33rd Street to Camelot Street. CONDITIONS ALONG THE ROUTES The Contractor's attention is called to various physical conditions along the routes as follows: The Contractor shall take precautions to avoid damage to power lines, foundations, guy wires, and appurtenances. The Contractor shall observe all applicable OSHA and owner requirements while working near the overhead power lines including restriction of height of equipment. During construction, the Contractor shall take the necessary precautions to avoid damaging existing utilities within the limits of the project site. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND CLARIFICATIONS The Contractor shall restore the work route to its original condition or better prior to acceptance by the Owner. The Contractor shall contact Mr. Gregory May at (409) 313-0965 prior to starting any work within the project area. Any changes in quantities will be addressed by Change Order and will have to be approved by the Owner before any work can be done. All excess materials removed during the course of the project will have to be properly disposed of by the Contractor. The Contractor shall at his own expense repair any waterlines or sanitary sewer lines damaged during the drainage improvements. The damage lines shall be immediately reported to the Owner.
