What this bid is

The City of San Antonio wants an offer to replace the existing cooling equipment at Fire Station No. 3. The work is to remove the current equipment, then supply and install two new Daikin 4-ton mini split systems, each with a 48,000 BTU condenser, with new copper lines to indoor air handlers in rooms that have no mini split now. The scope also covers running electrical circuits to the indoor units and condensers, condensate lines to an indoor drain, start-up and testing, and removing a shop heater on the second floor and capping its gas line.

The notice says the work should avoid structural changes where possible. If cutting into ceilings or walls is needed, the vendor would make the cuts and try to refit the removed pieces.

The agency estimates the value at $59,500. Offers are due 30 October 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT. Responses go through the supplier portal linked in the notice or by email to Sofia Reyna at sofia.reyna@sanantonio.gov, phone (210) 207-5875. The City decides who is selected.
