Bid responses must be clearly marked and delivered to the Hunt County Judge’s Office, 2507 Lee Street, 2nd Floor, Greenville, TX 75401. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 AM on the 24th day of September, 2026, at the Hunt County Courthouse, 2507 Lee Street, Greenville, TX 75401. Late bids will not be considered. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work, including the following: Rehabilitation of approximately 8,566 linear feet of street along Hunt County Road 4508, including base pulverization, stabilization and HMAC pavement. Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are on file for review at the Hunt County Judge’s Office, Hunt County Courthouse, 2507 Lee Street, 2nd Floor, Greenville, TX 75401. Electronic copies of the Bid/Contract Documents may be obtained at no charge, or printed copies may be obtained for $75.00 per set, from MTG Engineers & Surveyors, Inc., by contacting (903) 838-8533 or via email to DonnaCooper@mtgengineers.com. An optional Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Hunt County Auxiliary Courtroom, located at 2700 Johnson Street, Greenville, TX 75401. All questions regarding the project should be directed in writing to the Project Engineer, Kayla Wood, at kwood@mtgengineers.com. The deadline to submit questions is Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid for those contracts that exceed $100,000. A certified check or bank draft payable to HUNT COUNTY or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared through SAM.gov for participation on federal assistance programs (not suspended, debarred or ineligible) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Veteran-Owned Businesses and Section 3 Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. This solicitation is for services related to a project that is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States. HUNT COUNTY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any technicalities in the bidding, to readvertise or proceed otherwise in the best interest of the County. Bids may be held by HUNT COUNTY for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.
