SS4A US-71B Corridor Study and Railyard Loop Trail Undercrossing Feasibility Studies Request for Letters of Interest
What this bid is
The City of Rogers, Arkansas wants letters of interest from consulting firms for two planning and engineering studies tied to a federally funded Safe Streets and Roads for All grant. The first is a corridor study of US-71B from W. Walnut Street to S. 8th Street, about 6.7 miles, covering safety, mobility, access management and concept designs. The Dixieland Road to S. 8th Street ARDOT segment is excluded from the study but its design is to be folded in for consistency. The study must also account for a pending transfer of the W. Walnut Street segment to the City and be coordinated with a regional Bus Rapid Transit corridor study.
The second is a set of feasibility studies for grade-separated trail undercroassings at US-71B and W. Price Lane and at US-71B and S. 28th Street, covering conceptual design, site constraints, safety analysis and planning-level cost estimates. Findings feed into the corridor study final report.
