County of Sacramento - Waste Management and Recycling has issued notice to contractors, solicitation 41019.

The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the County. The project will involve the installation of approximately 1,132 feet of new 8” HDPE piping to be connected to existing 12” PVC piping at South Deer Creek. A majority of the new piping will be placed above ground. Work will also include: installation of new culverts to protect the HDPE piping at two road crossing locations, repair of the access road after installation of the culverts, and installation of a new air relief valve at approximately Sta 7+08.

Responses are due October 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM PDT.

Questions must be submitted by September 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM PDT.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for September 10, 2026 at 9:00 AM PDT at Kiefer Engineering Building (Building B), 12701 Kiefer Blvd., Sloughhouse, CA 95683. Please wear long jean and work boot for the site visit. We will be going over gravel road, therefore, plan accordingly with vehicle capability.
