For bids in excess of $300,000, bidders will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. PROJECT TIMELINE & WAGE REQUIREMENTS Mandatory Completion & Invoicing Deadline: This project is strictly time-sensitive. All flooring installations, final site inspections/acceptance, and final invoice submissions must be fully completed on or before December 31, 2026. Flexible Bidding Options: To ensure all work is completed within the required schedule, proposers may submit proposals for: Sierra Vista Apartments (2300 K Street) only, Sutterview Apartments (2526 L Street) only, or Both properties. Separate pricing sheets are provided for each location. Proposers bidding on both properties must complete the pricing sheets for both sites. Wage Rate Determination: This project is NOT subject to prevailing wage requirements. The applicable minimum pay standard for all labor performed under this contract is the California Minimum Wage.
