Michigan Avenue Utility Improvement Project

City of Fort Myers - Public Utilities has issued invitation for bid, solicitation ITB 26-104.

The City of Fort Myers (City) requests submittals from interested and qualified Contractors to provide Construction Services for the replacement of the aging infrastructure along the Michigan Avenue corridor from Seaboard Street to Veronica S Shoemaker Boulevard. Replacement of the aging infrastructure includes, but not limited to, the sanitary sewer, water mains, storm drainage conveyance system, drainage bridge culvert, streets and sidewalks.

The City of Fort Myers owns and maintains public roadway and utility infrastructure along Michigan Avenue, located between Seaboard Street and Veronica S Shoemaker Boulevard. In 2024, the City hired an engineering firm to provide engineering services including, but not limited to: Site survey, Roadway plans, Drainage and Storm Water plans, Signing and Marking plans, and Utility Replacement plans.

Responses are due October 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT.

Questions must be submitted by October 13, 2026 at 4:00 PM EDT.
