The Police Athletic League (PAL) Gym in Homestead is a vital community facility offering sports, recreational, and educational programs for youth and residents. Over time, the gym has experienced normal wear and tear, making updates to flooring, walls, and restrooms essential to maintain safety, accessibility, and usability. This project aims to modernize the facility with durable epoxy flooring, updated walls, and ADA-compliant restroom upgrades. Key challenges include coordinating work in a high-traffic community space, ensuring code and accessibility compliance, and delivering long-lasting, high-quality results.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for September 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM EDT at A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid conference and site inspection will be held on the date and time listed above in the General Services Department conference room located at 350 SE 6th Avenue, Homestead, Florida 33030. At that conference all work will be discussed and all questions answered. No questions will be answered verbally except at the pre-bid conference. You may submit questions via the Questions & Answer tab. A site inspection of the project location will be held immediately after the Pre-Bid Conference. Bidders who do not supply this information will not be permitted to attend the site inspection.
