MEMORANDUM TO: Company Addressed DATE: September 21, 2026 FROM: Santa Rosa County Procurement Office SUBJECT: 26-058 Mayo Park - Pond Creek Bank Improvements Notice is hereby given that the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners is seeking bids or the Mayo Park, Pond Creek Bank Improvements project. Specifications may be secured through the Santa Rosa County Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/santarosafl Questions concerning this request should be submitted through the procurement portal by 12:00 PM on October 7, 2026. Please submit all proposals through the procurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/santarosafl by 10:00 AM on October 21, 2026, at which time will be publicly opened via Teams. Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners encourages all segments of the business community to participate in its procurement opportunities, including small businesses, minority/women owned businesses, and disadvantaged business enterprises. The Pond Creek Bank Improvement project is part of Santa Rosa County’s plan to remedy severe creek bank erosion caused by extreme past storm events and improve resiliency during larger storm events along areas of Pond Creek’s bank within Mayo Park. These improvements include excavation of unsuitable materials and revitalization of the creek bank using natural materials such as logs, tree limbs, stone, select fill material, and native plantings. Part of this project, Bid Alternate A, also includes repairs to an existing sea wall located along the western shore of the creek that was damaged by past storms, causing parts of the wall to fall into the creek. The proposed improvements shall meet County and FDOT standards and specifications. The project shall be constructed in 120 days (90 days for substantial completion and 30 days for final completion) from the notice to proceed date, and if Bid Alternate A is selected, an additional 90 days for completion of Bid Alternate A.

Responses are due October 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT.

Questions must be submitted by October 7, 2026 at 12:00 PM CDT.
