City of Espanola, NM - Procurement has issued request for proposal, solicitation RFP 2027-002.
The City of Española is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed real estate appraisers to provide professional appraisal services for sixteen (16) properties located in Rio Arriba and Santa Fe Counties. The appraisals will be used to establish fair market value for potential sale, disposition, lien recovery, and compliance with applicable New Mexico law requiring appraisal of real property prior to sale when the property value exceeds Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000)
The City has identified sixteen (16) nuisance, vacant, demolished, or pending demolition/cleanup properties for valuation. Ten (10) of the properties have existing municipal liens associated with demolition or debris removal costs, and six (6) properties are pending demolition or cleanup action. The attached property list shall be incorporated as Exhibit A to this RFP.
Responses are due November 2, 2026 at 3:00 PM MST.
Questions must be submitted by October 26, 2026 at 3:00 PM MDT.
