LOCK E-5 POWERHOUSE ROOF REPLACEMENT-IN-KIND

The New York State Canal Corporation (hereafter, the "CANAL" and/or "NYSCC") a Subsidiary of the New York Power Authority (hereafter, "NYPA" and/or "The Authority") is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide replacement-in-kind of the asphalt shingled roof on the powerhouse at Lock E5. The powerhouse roof is roughly 34 feet long and 22 feet wide. The roof has a 1 on 2 slope leading up to the ridge; there is a portion where the roof slope transitions from the 1 on 2 to a 1 on 3 slope a few feet from the eave. A description of the required supporting services and details are located in the RFP on NYPA's Ariba platform.
