Assembly at Lone Star, LLC (Owner), through WGI, Inc. (Engineer and bidding administrator), is accepting electronic bids for the Lone Star Blvd. Street Improvement Project (SIP) in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. BASE BID – PHASE I: Reconstruction of approximately 2,300 LF of Lone Star Boulevard, including driveways, a shared-use path, signage, pavement markings, mill and overlay near the existing TxDOT intersection at Probandt Street, and low-impact development (bioretention) improvements; approximately 1,800 LF of storm sewer (24"–48" RCP) with inlets and junction boxes; approximately 300 LF of 12-inch sanitary sewer main and 200 LF of 12-inch water main with appurtenances; and erosion and sediment control. ADDITIVE ALTERNATE – PHASE II: UPRR rail crossing improvements with associated signage, pavement markings, and appurtenances; storm sewer outfall connection to the San Antonio River; and erosion and sediment control. Unit price contract. Alternate pricing is required and may not be left blank. Contract Times: Base Bid 290 calendar days to Substantial Completion / 350 to final completion; the Additive Alternate adds 150 / 30 calendar days. Liquidated damages apply per the Agreement. Bid security: 5% of the total of Base Bid plus Alternate, as an electronic bid bond on the provided form, uploaded with the bid. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds required. Bids must remain valid for 90 days. Governing specifications: CoSA (2008), SAWS (current), TxDOT (2024), and UPRR requirements, as listed in Section 01 00 00.
