City of Norfolk - Zoo has issued solicitation, solicitation RFQ 11348-0-2027/JF.

The City on behalf of the Virginia Zoo (“the Zoo”) is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the purchase, delivery, installation, and warranty support of one (1) complete endoscopy system. The system must include all necessary components for flexible and rigid endoscopy and meet the detailed specifications provided herein. All qualified bidders are invited to respond to this Request for Quotes by submitting a quote consistent with the terms, conditions, and specifications stated herein.

The Virginia Zoo is a premier zoological institution dedicated to world-class animal care, wildlife conservation, and veterinary excellence. The Zoo houses a diverse and dynamic collection of animals, ranging from small avian and exotic patients to large carnivores, primates, and megafauna. To maintain the highest standards of veterinary medicine and adapt to the complex, evolving clinical needs of these diverse species, the Zoo’s veterinary medical team requires advanced, reliable, and highly versatile diagnostic and surgical tools. Currently, the veterinary staff must manage a wide variety of medical cases across multiple habitats, quarantine facilities, and specialized clinical spaces. To enhance these operations, the Zoo is seeking a modern, portable, and high-quality endoscopy system
